Simple Guacamole

A staple at our house is a huge serving of chips and guac - no matter the occasion. Breakfast? Chips and guac. Afternoon tea? Chips and guac. Midnight snack? Chips and guac. It’s simple, tasty, and you can really make it look fancy if you get some last-minute guests (see picture). I like to skip the tomatoes and onion that you may see in a typical recipe and let the vibrant green take centre stage.

Do you have that inherited trait that makes cilantro taste like soap? No worries - skip it for this recipe and it will still taste great!


Prep Time: 5 min Total Time: 10 min Servings: 3-4 people

Ingredients:

3-4 ripe avocados 

1/2 tsp sea salt 

1 tbsp of chopped jalapeño

Juice of one lime 

1/4 cup chopped cilantro


Instructions: 

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and serve immediately!
