My Life Changed…

My life changed when I got a coach that knew how to inspire me to greater heights. Instead of yelling at me to “get my head in the game” or benching me without explanation, she pulled me aside and offered me guidance, belief, and specific changes to make. I became a top performer and won a lot of awards that year. All because she believed in me. 

Since those university days, I’ve gotten my Bachelors of Kinesiology and focused my coaching entirely on young athletes. 

One-size-fits-all is not my style, and I believe girls and guys need entirely different approaches to coaching.

I now take that exercise science background and my lived experience in sport to create an unparalleled coaching approach for teen girls.

➤ Tend to take criticism more personally

➤ Perform differently based on time of month

➤ Need cohesive team chemistry in order to play their best game

➤ Can struggle with confidence more and can be harder on themselves

➤ Are unstoppable when they are taught positive self talk and a “bounce back” mindset
