Turmeric latte

So confession time... when I tried my first turmeric latte I thought it was disgusting! I knew it was healthy, but at the same time I couldn’t shake the thought that people actually drink this stuff. So I decided to start with baby steps. I started taking turmeric capsules and soon discovered that I loved the way it made my body feel. So I did some research and discovered why - turmeric has some amazing properties that include helping to reduce inflammation and joint pain, aiding in digestion, and boosting your immune system with its antibacterial and antiviral attributes. So I made it my mission to find a turmeric latte that wouldn’t leave me wanting to burn my tongue off or (less dramatically) brush my teeth. If you’re in the same boat as me, I implore you to give this recipe a try! I found that it was an easy replacement for my mid-afternoon coffee to deliver a warm soothing liquid without the added caffeine headache that coffee often brings. I even drink it to help settle down and get cozy before bed. And get this… it actually tastes good!
